Senior Software Engineer (AI & Salesforce)

Location: Must be based out of the Chicago, IL or Peoria, IL offices

Salary: $112,710 - $183,140

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce and AI-powered solutions using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Customize Salesforce platforms, including Sales, Marketing, Experience, and Data Clouds, and implement Agentforce.
• Develop enterprise-grade applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, and Salesforce APIs.
• Build AI capabilities including Einstein AI, intelligent assistants, conversational experiences, and predictive insights.
• Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and event-driven architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship on AI-assisted development and modern software delivery practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of software development experience with solid knowledge of OOP principles.
• 3+ years of experience in designing and developing software applications in Python.
• Experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI tools, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and vector databases.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud.
