What you will do

• Lead, develop, and manage Portfolio Manager Team Leads to build a high-performance, accountable culture.
• Provide strategic oversight of portfolio management activities to ensure consistent underwriting quality and sound risk management.
• Drive process improvement and technology adoption, including workflow enhancements and nCino usage.
• Promote disciplined processes that support safety, documentation quality, and audit readiness.
• Build strong partnerships with Commercial Banking leaders, Credit Officers, and executive leadership.
• Identify, mentor, and develop future leaders through succession planning and career development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial banking, credit administration, or portfolio management.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing managers or large professional teams.
• Demonstrated experience approving or influencing complex commercial credit decisions.
• Proven track record in leading organizational change and process improvement.
• Ability to travel periodically to assigned markets and leadership meetings.
