What you will do

• Drive technical vision and architectural decisions for the Data and Partner Platform team.
• Architect and implement scalable systems for ingesting and processing billions of data points.
• Lead schema design and data flow architecture for partner integrations and file-driven pipelines.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to balance business priorities with technical excellence.
• Mentor engineers and champion best practices across the organization.
• Lead high-severity incident investigations and drive operational improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with staff-level scope.
• Must be based in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
• Proven background in full-stack engineering with expertise in distributed systems and microservices.
• Strong proficiency with gRPC, RESTful APIs, and contract-driven development.
• Hands-on experience with both OLAP and OLTP relational databases.
• Demonstrated experience integrating complex third-party APIs and building data pipelines.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the energy industry or regulated sectors.
• Background in building internal developer tooling or shared infrastructure.
• Familiarity with data quality monitoring and observability tooling.
