Location: Must be based in the United States, with a preference for candidates in the NYC metro area able to work in a hybrid setting (2–5 days/month in office).

Salary: $240,000–$350,000

What you will do

• Ship new product features and systems rapidly while maintaining a high quality bar.
• Define and implement AI-native workflows, including patterns, evals, and guardrails for the team.
• Own and maintain backend infrastructure, ensuring system health, observability, and deploy hygiene.
• Partner with the CTO and cross-functional teams to drive architectural decisions.
• Set the technical hiring bar and conduct technical interviews.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Proven track record of using AI to build real products and systems faster without sacrificing quality.
• Strong product judgment and experience working in small, high-trust teams.
• Solid backend experience in Go or Kotlin.
• Competence with AWS or GCP and production Kubernetes.
• Full-stack comfort with Node/TypeScript and React/Next.js.
