Sr. Manager, IT Internal Audit (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the vision and execution of the IT internal audit plan and lead the IT ICFR/SOX program end-to-end.
• Design and execute risk-based audits across security, engineering, compliance, and product domains.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on AI governance, algorithmic risk, and the control implications of AI deployment.
• Manage relationships with external auditors to ensure alignment and reduce stakeholder fatigue.
• Implement next-generation audit technology, including AI-powered anomaly detection and predictive risk scoring.
• Lead high-priority strategic initiatives, M&A due diligence, and special investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in IT audit, with 3+ years in a people-leadership role within high-growth SaaS or FinTech.
• Deep expertise in ICFR/SOX, GAAP, PCAOB, SEC, COSO, and COBIT frameworks.
• Hands-on experience auditing cloud-native SaaS architectures and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Must be based in the United States.
• CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CCSP, or CISM certifications are strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, and Workday.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics, AI/ML-driven auditing techniques, and emerging AI governance frameworks.
