What you will do

• Take ownership of national and subnational projection models, ensuring data foundations and assumptions are rigorous.
• Design and implement evaluation studies, benchmarks, and diagnostic tooling to identify accuracy issues or bias.
• Investigate customer-reported anomalies through root-cause analysis of large-scale healthcare data.
• Collaborate with engineering to design, implement, and validate model changes before release.
• Deliver clear methodological documentation and explanations to translate complex model mechanics into actionable answers.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Graduate degree (MS/PhD) in Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of industry experience with statistical modeling and large-scale real-world healthcare data.
• Deep expertise in US healthcare claims coding (ICD, CPT/HCPCS, NDC) and billing processes.
• Working proficiency in SQL and Python or R for large-scale data analysis.
• Experience evaluating model quality when ground truth is limited.

Nice to have

• Experience with projection or extrapolation methodology (market sizing, weighting, and calibration).
• Knowledge of Bayesian statistics and its application to estimation problems.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (coding copilots, agentic workflows).
