What you will do
- Develop innovative statistical, machine learning, simulation, and advanced mathematical methodologies using complex healthcare datasets.
- Explore electronic health record, administrative billing, and post-adjudicated claims data to identify patterns, opportunities, and clinically relevant insights.
- Translate analytical prototypes into products, services, and features in collaboration with developers, architects, product engineers, customers, and subject matter experts.
- Lead requirements analysis, conceptual design, hypothesis testing, product experiments, and strategic data initiatives.
- Produce peer-reviewed publications, patent submissions, conference presentations, and thought leadership materials.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, training, project planning, and data science practice leadership.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of applicable professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong expertise in healthcare analytics, statistics, simulation, advanced mathematics, data search and matching, and AI/machine learning.
- Experience with SQL, technical data, data modeling, software design or development, and large patient datasets.
- Ability to lead customer and IT requirements-gathering sessions, interpret user needs, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work remotely from the United States and travel 1–20% within the US.

- Clinical or public health background.
- Healthcare research experience and experience teaching in a university setting.
- First- or lead-author publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and patent application experience.
- Experience with customer engagement, collaboration, and conflict management.
