Senior Android Engineer (Crypto)

Location: Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY; in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week

Base pay: $196,000–$230,000 USD annually for Zone 1 locations; $172,000–$202,000 for Zone 2; $153,000–$179,000 for Zone 3. Additional bonus, equity, and benefits are available.

What you will do

• Build stable, intuitive Android experiences with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs.
• Develop onboarding, local funding, account setup, multi-currency wallet, trading, and translation capabilities for new markets.
• Lead features from ideation and technical design through implementation, testing, and release.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and Data Science.
• Improve code quality, scalability, maintainability, and engineering standards.
• Mentor junior developers and influence architecture decisions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java, Android SDK, and architecture patterns such as MVVM.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow or RxJava, Retrofit, and Room.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a product-focused mindset.
• Experience mentoring peers, leading complex projects, and influencing architecture decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
