Location: Primarily remote. Must be able to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance and satisfy all CMS residency requirements.

What you will do

• Extend and implement design systems within Drupal themes using Storybook and Single Directory Components (SDC).
• Architect and write secure, performant, and well-documented JavaScript code.
• Implement and uphold Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) across all digital touchpoints.
• Develop PostCSS workflows and integrate Web Components into Drupal themes.
• Write integration and end-to-end tests using Cypress to ensure reliability and regression coverage.
• Collaborate within Agile teams using Git repositories, branching workflows, and conflict resolution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional web development experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Drupal 10 and/or Drupal 11 frontend development.
• Strong familiarity with Single Directory Components (SDC) and modern Drupal frontend architectures.
• Proficiency in WCAG accessibility standards and PostCSS workflows.
• Experience modifying React-based apps or similar JS frameworks and integrating them into Drupal.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Extensive React development experience and knowledge of progressively decoupled Drupal architectures.
• Examples of community-contributed or custom Drupal 10/11 code.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools to accelerate prototyping and improve code quality.
