What you will do

• Lead, grow, and develop a global SRE team providing 24x7 coverage.
• Manage the operations center, incident command, and response functions.
• Maintain 4-9’s availability across the production fleet.
• Own release management and orchestrate resilient processes for functional microservices.
• Perform service capacity planning, demand forecasting, and system tuning.
• Partner with development teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and observability from day zero.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of software engineering experience, with 7+ years leading teams of 50+ engineers.
• 7+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure infrastructure.
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Experience implementing telemetry, observability (New Relic, DataDog, Splunk), and automated remediation.
• Must be based in the United States.
