What you will do

• Define and track quality metrics like defect escape rate and release risk score for critical business domains.
• Design and drive a built-in quality strategy, incorporating shift-left testing and contract testing between services.
• Manage the ticketing pipeline and triage customer-facing issues to identify trends and escalate critical bugs.
• Evaluate and drive the adoption of AI-assisted quality tools for test generation and log analysis.
• Audit and expand automated test coverage across unit, integration, API, and end-to-end tiers.
• Lead user acceptance and staging sign-off for major releases, coordinating with product and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with quality metrics and a holistic approach to product quality.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD, version control, APIs, and the architecture of large-scale web applications.
• Experience applying AI tools to test planning, issue triage, or automation workflows.
• Ability to lead quality-focused projects spanning multiple teams.
• Background in computer science or a related technical field.
• Must be based in the US and able to work from the Concord, MA office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Technical travel experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
• Experience with mobile app testing.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
• Specialized leadership in accessibility (WCAG) or API testing.
