Scheduler (Manufacturing)

Salary: $27.56 - $29.52 per hour

What you will do

• Optimize production schedules utilizing Cut Rite Program optimization.
• Extract and analyze data from the ERP system using SQL to create queries and reports.
• Populate and maintain routing data in the database to ensure accurate costing and credit.
• Collaborate with production groups to resolve BOM (Bill of Materials) information issues.
• Interpret engineering drawings to ensure parts are produced to exact specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with ISO standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Degree in Programming or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of SQL language and SDLC software for data analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.
• Must be based in Toronto, ON and able to work in a manufacturing floor environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cut Rite Software.
• Experience with the creation of new Access databases.
• Familiarity with networking systems for troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of woodworking equipment.
