Senior DevSecOps Engineer

What you will do

• Partner with DevOps and platform teams to embed security into cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes platforms.
• Design and implement secure-by-default patterns for infrastructure as code, secrets management, and identity controls.
• Assess current security landscapes to identify operational gaps and define a scalable future-state operating model.
• Build automation for manual security tasks and platform operations to improve repeatability and reduce toil.
• Improve the security posture of multi-cloud Kubernetes environments, including cluster configuration and workload protection.
• Collaborate with software engineers to remediate vulnerabilities and define paved-road security standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in Argentina or Brazil.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or Security Engineering.
• Strong experience securing cloud-native infrastructure in at least one major public cloud.
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container security, and workload isolation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, release engineering, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with regulated environments and compliance frameworks like HIPAA, SOC 2, or PCI DSS.
• Strong scripting or programming ability for automation and tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and GCP cloud environments.
• Experience with Terraform, GitOps (ArgoCD), and observability tools like Datadog.
• Familiarity with edge/network platforms and modern ingress patterns.
