Software Engineer (CET)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain CET Designer software extensions using object-oriented programming.
• Build configurable product logic for visualization, specification, pricing, bills of materials, and manufacturing rules.
• Create and maintain intelligent 2D and 3D representations of commercial furniture products.
• Translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Participate in Agile planning, estimation, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Digital Product Management, QA, and Delivery Management teams across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least four years of professional software development experience with an object-oriented language such as C#, C++, Java, or a similar technology.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, software architecture, and modern development practices.
• Experience with source control systems and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Employment eligibility verification is conducted through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience developing CET Designer extensions with Configura.
• Experience with CAD, 3D visualization, or product configuration applications.
• Knowledge of commercial furniture, manufacturing, or engineering systems.
• Experience working with globally distributed development teams.
