Cyber Software Engineer

TL;DR

Cyber Software Engineer (Python/Linux): Designing, troubleshooting, and implementing end-to-end software and service integrations with an accent on secure software development lifecycle, production pipeline reliability, and automation using IaC. Focus on integrating COTS/GOTS/open-source technologies in Linux/container-heavy environments and building ETL workflows across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid setups.

What you will do

• Design, develop, debug, and integrate software stacks for on-prem and cloud-based tools and services.
• Troubleshoot production issues in software applications and pipeline workflows.
• Research, test, and coordinate integration of new products based on user and mission requirements.
• Automate deployments, testing, and builds using IaC tooling (including Ansible, Terraform, and Git-CI).
• Ensure quality control via staged testing and software pipelines.
• Work in Linux and container-heavy environments (OpenShift, RHEL, Alma, Docker) and tune configurations for COTS/GOTS/open-source technologies.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred
• Ability to obtain DHS Suitability
• 4+ years of directly relevant experience in applications development
• Operational experience with Python and Linux terminals
• Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle, code versioning/maintenance, and RESTful architecture
