TL;DR
Senior Platform Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Building and scaling cloud-native infrastructure for automated lending and an agentic OS with an accent on Kubernetes orchestration and AI-integrated toolchains. Focus on automating cloud resource provisioning via in-house operators and enhancing platform reliability through advanced observability.
Location: Hybrid: Must be based in the Netherlands (Amsterdam), requiring three days per week in the office
Salary: €6,540 – €7,000 per month

What you will do
- Operate and extend the AWS/EKS platform, Istio service mesh, and Flux GitOps across all environments.
- Run and extend an in-house cloud infrastructure operator for declarative provisioning of cloud resources.
- Build and maintain shared CI/CD templates and self-service tooling to streamline deployment.
- Own reliability and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo.
- Automate repetitive manual tasks using platform tools or AI agents to eliminate toil.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Platform, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Proven experience running Kubernetes in production with minimal guidance.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform, Helm, and Flux or Argo CD.
- AI-native mindset: active integration of agentic coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code into the workflow.
- Security-first approach focusing on blast radius, least privilege, and observability.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM infrastructure, including vector stores, RAG, LLM observability, or MCP.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock or OpenAI.
