What you will do

• Define and own service-level objectives (SLOs) and error budgets across the Azure estate.
• Engineer out toil by building self-healing automation and agent-based support layers.
• Standardize observability metrics, alerting, and tracing to reduce the alert-to-incident ratio.
• Lead incident response and conduct blameless postmortems to drive durable system fixes.
• Harden CI/CD pipelines and progressive delivery processes including canaries and automated rollbacks.
• Model capacity and performance to ensure the platform scales efficiently across global regions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Site Reliability, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineer in a production Azure environment.
• Deep expertise in SLOs, error budgets, and reliability engineering practices.
• Strong observability skills using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or VictoriaMetrics.
• Advanced Kubernetes management including Helm, RBAC, and persistent volumes.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Solid Linux system administration skills and experience with configuration management tools like Puppet or Ansible.

Nice to have

• Experience with progressive delivery techniques and automated rollbacks.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Adoption Framework or enterprise landing-zone structures.
• Practical experience with AI-native software delivery tools like Claude Code.
• Familiarity with EU data residency and sovereign cloud requirements.
