Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York City

Salary: $134,000 - $168,000 USD

What you will do

• Deliver security projects to reduce risk across shipped products and services.
• Partner with engineering teams to identify security risks from design and code review through CI/CD and production.
• Build automation and tooling to make secure development repeatable at scale.
• Design and implement AI Agents that automate and enforce security controls across the SDLC.
• Apply emerging AI/LLM security knowledge to mitigate risks like prompt injection and data exposure.
• Collaborate with partner teams to champion security standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Hands-on security engineering experience embedded in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Solid coding skills in at least one modern language such as Python or Go.
• Experience designing and implementing AI Agents or similar automated security systems.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM security risks and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Working knowledge of industry frameworks such as OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, or NIST.
• Ability to perform risk analyses and review code for vulnerabilities.
