Salary: $145,000–$165,000 USD

What you will do

• Define and evolve security architecture across AWS and colocation infrastructure.
• Design and implement automated security controls, identity management, and preventative guardrails.
• Lead threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and technical risk assessments for new products.
• Embed security capabilities into infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize AI-assisted tooling to improve detection, vulnerability triage, and threat modeling.
• Act as a senior technical escalation point during significant security incidents.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• Significant experience in security engineering, infrastructure security, or cloud security.
• Deep, hands-on experience securing AWS environments and identity/access management.
• Experience designing or securing on-premises or colocation-hosted infrastructure.
• Proficiency with scripting or software development using Python or Go.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex initiatives across multiple engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Advanced AWS certification in security or architecture.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or other regulated technology environments.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR, NIST, or ISO 27001.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container security, and policy-as-code.
