What you will do

• Develop and scale the internal control framework using AI and automation to ensure reliability.
• Strengthen systems for identifying, monitoring, and reporting risks.
• Co-build next-generation risk tooling and maintain precise documentation for third parties.
• Perform second-level reviews on high-risk areas and manage audits from commercial partners and supervisors.
• Collaborate with Insurance, Operations, and Legal teams to design and implement risk mitigation action plans.
• Support team growth through talent identification, hiring, and creating risk management resources.

Requirements

• Legally eligible to work from France.
• At least 2 years of experience in internal control or risk within insurance, Big Four, or fast-growing regulated environments.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Solid understanding of Solvency II and insurance domain expertise (underwriting, reserving, reporting).
• Comfort with AI and automation tools to scale controls and anticipate AI's impact on risk management.
• Builder's mindset and a business-partner attitude when working with product teams.

Nice to have

• Exposure to the DORA framework, HDS, or ISO 27001.
• Experience in multiple jurisdictions, specifically Belgium, Spain, or Canada (OSFI).
