Accounting Apprentice (Finance): Managing end-to-end accounts payable and supporting monthly financial closings within a global refurbished tech marketplace with an accent on operational excellence and process optimization. Location: Paris, France. Must be enrolled in a work-study program in a French school (contrat d'alternance / d'apprentissage)

What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end accounts payable, matching provider invoices with purchase orders and performing conformity checks.
  • Analyze outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Contribute to monthly closings, including accruals and prepaid/deferred expense calculations.
  • Reconcile and analyze auxiliary supplier accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Champion the expense management tool, handling organizational updates and day-to-day transaction accounting.
  • Proactively identify and implement process enhancements to optimize accounting operations.

Requirements

  • Solid accounting knowledge and eagerness to apply it in practice.
  • Fluent in English.
  • At least B2 level in French.
  • Must be enrolled in a work-study program in a French school.
  • Strong analytical mindset, rigorous approach, and high organizational skills.
