What you will do

• Ship end-to-end features from React UI to Go backend services and associated dashboards.
• Develop, maintain, and scale infrastructure observability features and cloud integrations.
• Own projects from problem statement to production, including user validation and feedback.
• Contribute upstream to open-source projects including Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana Alloy.
• Write design proposals, conduct demos, and collaborate on the product roadmap.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for the services you own.

Requirements

• Experience with Go on the backend and TypeScript/React on the frontend.
• Must be based in the US or Canada (EST time zone).
• Fluency with AI-assisted development using coding agents and LLM tooling.
• Working knowledge of the observability ecosystem, specifically Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strong written communication skills for collaboration across multiple time zones.
• Product-focused mindset with the ability to define what to build based on user problems.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to or maintaining Open Source projects.
• Experience building developer tooling for a large user base.
• Experience creating Grafana plugins, apps, or dashboards.
• Familiarity with Grafana Alloy or the OpenTelemetry Collector.
• Experience with Jsonnet or other configuration-as-code languages.
