What you will do

• Drive the pricing and portfolio management agenda for the London division in alignment with underwriting strategy.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Managing Directors and Underwriters to improve portfolio profitability.
• Calibrate, develop, and refine pricing models across relevant insurance classes.
• Monitor key performance drivers at a granular level for both open market and delegated business.
• Support quarterly business planning and performance governance processes.
• Build and deliver advanced analytics, pricing tools, and dashboards to support underwriting decisions.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the London Market, including specialty lines and underwriting dynamics.
• Strong technical grounding in pricing with hands-on experience in developing and refining rating models.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in SQL for large dataset manipulation.
• Ability to translate complex technical model outputs into commercially relevant recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Must be based in or able to work from London, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python for modelling, analytics, and automation.
• Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
• Exposure to advanced analytics or data science techniques.
