Stewardship Analyst (Sustainable Investment)

Location: London, United Kingdom; office-based 4 days per week with flexibility to work remotely 1 day per week

What you will do

• Support thematic and issuer-specific company engagement priorities, including discussions with management and board directors.
• Analyze proxy ballot items across global markets and formulate voting recommendations aligned with proxy voting guidelines.
• Incorporate engagement history, investment research, governance practices, and market context into proxy analysis.
• Maintain engagement records and stewardship data for reporting, measurement, and transparency.
• Use data analytics and AI-enabled research tools to improve proxy analysis, engagement tracking, reporting, and workflows.
• Support stewardship reporting, RFI/RFP responses, and integration of stewardship capabilities into investor workflows.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, Sustainability, Political Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3–6 years of relevant experience in investment stewardship, corporate governance, investment research, responsible investing, sustainability, consulting, investor relations, or a research-oriented role.
• Strong analytical skills and sound judgment when evaluating company disclosures, governance practices, proxy materials, sustainability reporting, and market context.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across investment, stewardship, and client platform teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work from the London office 4 days per week, with 1 day of remote flexibility.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Power BI, Python, or other AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience monitoring regulatory developments and evolving governance practices across global markets.
