What you will do

• Design and own scalable software services, API designs, and data models aligned with engineering standards.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of complex features across the full SDLC, from design to operational support.
• Drive technical direction by evaluating trade-offs and setting best practices for code quality and observability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and partner engineering teams to deliver integrated travel solutions.
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve marketplace outcomes and productivity.
• Proactively debug and resolve production issues to reduce operational toil through automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ownership of services, including responsibility for technical design and operational health.
• Proficiency in system design (LLD), API design, and data modeling for scalability and reliability.
• Experience with microservices architectures, CI/CD, and production monitoring practices.

Nice to have

• Experience designing high-traffic services, performance tuning, and resilience engineering.
• Track record of technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and influencing engineering best practices.
• Deep experience with observability, metrics, logging, and incident response analysis.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML platforms, SDKs, or APIs into production systems.
