Accountant (MedTech)

Location: Taguig, National Capital Region (Manila), Philippines; full-time onsite position with possible shifts aligned to Americas, EMEA, and Asia assignments.

What you will do

• Execute accurate and complete accounting for balance sheet and income statement processes.
• Close financial periods on schedule and meet service-level agreement commitments while following compliance, internal audit, and SOX requirements.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate open items, and maintain the validity of reported actuals.
• Support auditors, legal authorities, process subject matter experts, and operational contacts across regions and processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements aligned with global standards.
• Provide on-the-job training to new team members and BPO partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline.
• 1–2 years of professional finance experience and a basic understanding of finance and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; fluent English is required.
• Ability to learn new processes, adapt to changing business requirements, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Willingness to work shifts supporting global assignments and travel internationally up to 0–5%.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, MBA, or other financial certification.
• Shared service center or BPO experience in a multinational corporation.
• Global accounting experience for a large multi-state company.
• Invoice-to-Cash experience, including cash application, credit, collections, or dispute management.
• US GAAP knowledge and digital or intelligent automation capabilities.
