What you will do
- Serve as the Corporate Treasurer of the Philippine company in accordance with applicable corporate laws and SEC regulations.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing under US GAAP and Philippine statutory requirements.
- Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, account analyses, statutory financial statements, and management reports.
- Analyze financial results, provide variance analysis, and investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Global Business Services and cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.
- Support internal and external audits, tax compliance activities, internal controls, SOX requirements, and continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, treasury, or corporate finance.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, local accounting standards, statutory reporting, taxation, and financial controls.
- Knowledge of Philippine corporate, tax, and SEC regulations.
- Experience with financial planning, cash management, treasury operations, SOX, internal controls, compliance, and risk management.
- ERP experience, preferably SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
