Sr Accountant

Location: Taguig, National Capital Region (Manila), Philippines. Full-time position; shifts may align with global assignments in the Americas, EMEA, or Asia. Up to 0–5% international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Execute timely financial period closing in line with closing calendars, SLA commitments, compliance, internal audit, and SOX requirements.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and valid actuals for assigned processes and entities across balance sheet and income statement activities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, reduce open items, and support auditors and legal authorities.
• Maintain internal controls, identify compliance risks, and recommend solutions in accordance with global policies and procedures.
• Train new team members and BPO partners while supporting process subject matter experts and operational contacts across regions.
• Identify and implement process improvements aligned with global standards and continuous improvement goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in finance.
• Solid understanding of finance and compliance requirements, with strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent English is required.
• Learning agility, adaptability, openness to new technologies, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, MBA, or other financial certifications.
• Experience in a multinational shared service center, BPO, or global accounting environment.
• Experience with the end-to-end Invoice-to-Cash process, especially collections and dispute management.
• Solid US GAAP knowledge and experience with digital or intelligent automation.
• Additional language skills.
