What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain internal business applications using a proprietary Python-based platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Production, and HR to translate operational challenges into software solutions.
• Model complex business workflows, including approvals, scheduling, validation, and automation.
• Develop Python services and APIs to integrate with enterprise platforms such as Dynamics 365, UKG, and Jira.
• Implement AI-enabled features like summarization and intelligent search using Azure AI Foundry.
• Contribute to the evolution of the internal platform by identifying reusable patterns and improving shared frameworks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Python or another modern object-oriented language.
• Experience developing software that supports business processes, workflows, or operational systems.
• Strong fundamentals in debugging, testing, and writing maintainable code.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, structured data, and Git.
• Ability to communicate effectively and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience incorporating generative AI using Azure OpenAI or OpenAI APIs.
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365, UKG, Flow Production Tracking (ShotGrid), or Jira.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native or serverless architectures.
• Proficiency with UI frameworks such as Reflex, PySide/PyQt, or React.
