What you will do

• Support project delivery by building and shipping features, integrations, and fixes end to end.
• Maintain production platforms through upgrades, tuning, security patching, and technical debt reduction.
• Handle incidents with first-line ownership, clear communication, and postmortem follow-up.
• Improve observability with enhanced logging, metrics, traces, and alerting.
• Automate repetitive tasks and maintain up-to-date documentation and runbooks.
• Support the team through code reviews and contributing to engineering standards.

Requirements

• Location: Remote within LATAM region
• 2-5 years experience building and running web applications in production, comfortable with both server-side and client-side work.
• Professional experience with Python and TypeScript or strong expertise in one with exposure to the other.
• Solid relational database skills including schema design and query performance.
• Experience with major cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• Strong debugging skills in live systems and experience with incident management and on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Experience with background job systems, queues, or event-driven architectures.
• Experience stabilizing inherited systems.
• Security or compliance awareness in regulated environments such as energy, government, health, or finance.
• Familiarity with LLM-backed features and their operational characteristics.
• Consulting or agency background with client relationship ownership.
