What you will do

• Assist in the formulation and compounding of polymer-modified matrices and composite materials.
• Perform mechanical and physical testing, including tensile strength, thermal stability, and heat aging.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on pilot-scale and production facility prototype trials.
• Maintain accurate experimental data, instrument logs, and technical reports.
• Adhere to strict laboratory safety protocols, 5S principles, and hazardous material handling standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical) or Hard Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology).
• Completed college-level coursework in chemistry and physics.
• Strong aptitude for hands-on laboratory work and mechanical testing.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong data organization skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Degree specifically in Chemical or Materials Engineering.
• Academic focus on Materials Science and Polymer Chemistry.
• Prior hands-on experience via internships, co-ops, or undergraduate research.
