What you will do

• Maintain and qualify analytical equipment, specifically ICP-MS instruments, within the Bulk Chemical Delivery area.
• Oversee vendor maintenance activities, system fingerprints, and automated alarm responses.
• Develop facility specifications and design packages for new metrology equipment installations.
• Ensure instrument matching across sites to maintain data integrity and quality standards.
• Create comprehensive documentation, including sampling procedures and technical white papers.
• Develop training programs for engineers and technicians on analytical instrumentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 months to 1+ years of hands-on analytical chemistry lab experience.
• Proficiency in operating, calibrating, and maintaining analytical instrumentation such as ICP-MS, ICP-OES, or AAS.
• Experience with sample preparation, data interpretation, and quality control procedures.
• Must be able to work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Agilent 7900 or 8900 ICP-MS instruments and LIMS data acquisition tools.
• Experience in developing processes and standards to drive efficiency across multiple entities.
