What you will do
- Lead and oversee all sterile and non-sterile compounding pharmacy operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards and develop efficient workflows.
- Serve as the first Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for the facility.
- Build, manage, and mentor a top-tier team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Develop the compounding facility and establish quality and compliance processes.
- Contribute to strategic planning to strengthen pharmacy infrastructure and innovation.
Requirements
- Active California Pharmacist License.
- 5+ years of experience at a 503A compounding facility, ideally as the pharmacist in charge.
- Strong expertise in hands-on compounding of both sterile and non-sterile compounds.
- Deep familiarity and experience with USP 795 and USP 797 compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing and mentoring teams.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
