What you will do

• Directly supervise and train all compounding personnel and evaluate their performance.
• Perform and document compounding procedures, quality assurance/control checks, and dispensing of preparations.
• Collaborate with R&D teams on the development and scale-up of new compounded formulations.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of compounding equipment and monitor the lab environment.
• Develop and evaluate standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the compounding lab and formulations.
• Ensure all activities comply with USP <795>, <800>, BOP, and internal safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist License in Arizona.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• 5+ years of pharmacist experience, with at least 3 years specifically in a compounding pharmacy.
• Proven experience with non-sterile compounding and strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to undergo respirator fit testing and work with hazardous drugs using required PPE.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
• Experience in Mail Service or Mail Order Pharmacy.
• Multi-state pharmacy licensure.
