What you will do

• Manage capital projects from concept development, design, and procurement through commissioning and turnover.
• Prepare project justifications, scope documents, cost estimates, and schedules to support expenditure requests.
• Serve as the contractor's designated representative, overseeing construction management, safety compliance, and quality control.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, EH&S, and quality teams to ensure all stakeholder requirements are met.
• Develop bid packages, evaluate vendor proposals, and manage external contractors and consultants.
• Lead Management of Change (MOC) processes for new systems and facility modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2+ years of experience OR High School Diploma with 6+ years of experience in capital project or manufacturing engineering.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship for employment visa status.
• Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, utilities, or facility systems.
• Experience ensuring projects comply with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.
• Ability to conduct engineering reviews and constructability evaluations.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• PMP, CMRP, or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certifications.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
