What you will do

• Maintain and improve the site's IATF 16949 Quality Management System and associated documentation.
• Develop annual audit schedules and lead Internal System, Process, and Product Audits.
• Coordinate third-party registrar and customer audits, tracking findings and corrective actions through closure.
• Facilitate root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies to address system issues.
• Manage Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR) and ensure their integration into operational processes.
• Analyze quality KPI performance and prepare executive summaries and leadership reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience, preferably within automotive manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining an IATF 16949 certified quality management system.
• Proficiency in AIAG Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Ft.Wayne, IN, US.

Nice to have

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
• IATF 16949 Internal or Lead Auditor certification.
• Experience with SAP and quality data systems.
• Experience supporting surveillance and recertification audits.
