What you will do

• Lead interior launch quality as a core member of the plant Launch Team.
• Develop and execute Manufacturing Quality Launch Plans in alignment with BIQ and MQRR requirements.
• Validate interior processes during pilot and trial builds, including assembly methods and error-proofing.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to prioritize and resolve launch issues.
• Lead cross-functional problem-solving sessions with engineering, maintenance, and production teams.
• Manage supplier quality records and support launch readiness for interior components.

Requirements

• 3+ years of quality or engineering experience in assembly or interior manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of vehicle interior systems and assembly flow.
• Proficiency in applying GD&T, prints, and metrology tools.
• Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies like 8D or 5-Why.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no immigration sponsorship provided.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in automotive interior or assembly manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with GLP, PIT/IRT, and 7-Diamond problem solving.
• Advanced experience with SPPS and supplier collaboration.
• Proven success in managing interior dimensional performance and fit/finish.
