What you will do

• Own and coordinate the end-to-end monthly financial close for multiple entities to ensure timeliness and quality.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and report findings to the CFO.
• Draft and maintain accounting policies and technical memos following US GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Partner with Tax, FP&A, and Treasury teams to determine proper accounting treatment for complex transactions.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to shorten closing timelines and strengthen controls.
• Analyze the impact of local accounting entries on group consolidation, including intercompany transactions and FX effects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Solid experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting.
• Strong professional knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven track record of owning monthly close processes across multiple entities.
• Solid understanding of consolidation concepts, intercompany eliminations, and FX/CTA.
• Must be based in Brazil (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience with international structures and multiple functional currencies.
• Exposure to data tools or process automation.
• MBA or advanced specialization in Accounting/Finance.
• Fluent English.
