What you will do

• Lead materials and substance compliance activities throughout the product lifecycle, from design to end-of-life.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to integrate compliance requirements into development.
• Manage material data and compliance status using Engineering Release Systems and Teamcenter Visualization.
• Analyze product designs and material compositions to identify potential risks and propose effective solutions.
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure adherence to global regulations such as REACH, RoHS, GADSL, and ELV.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in materials and substance compliance within automotive or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with design, development, and integration processes in a complex product environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and apply creative problem-solving to regulatory challenges.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in the International Materials Data System (IMDS) and ProECoMs.
• Working knowledge of automotive parts.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and AI tools.
• Familiarization with REACH, RoHS, GADSL, and ELV regulations.
