Off-Page SEO Manager

Location: Must be based in Canada (Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, or Victoria).

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end vendor relationship lifecycle, including sourcing, negotiation, and quality review.
• Build and scale earned and owned link acquisition capabilities, including reclamation and partner link-swaps.
• Collaborate with the Content team to turn resources into outreach-ready linkable assets.
• Evaluate external link partnership platforms and provide long-term strategy recommendations.
• Track and report monthly performance metrics, including total links acquired and cost per link.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in link building or SEO.
• Strong relationship-building instincts for nurturing recurring partnerships.
• Working understanding of link value, relevance, and authority.
• Proficiency with SEO research and outreach tools like Pitchbox, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
• Self-directed approach with strong organizational and reporting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with vendor or paid-link program management.
• Familiarity with link-swap or marketplace platforms.
• Experience promoting linkable assets like calculators or badge campaigns.
• Background in B2B media, SaaS, or content-driven organizations.
