What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, resilient Java and Spring Boot microservices using domain-driven design principles.
• Architect and maintain high-volume ETL/ELT workflows with Spring Batch, including partitioning, multithreaded steps, and fault-tolerance policies.
• Develop and document RESTful APIs for internal systems and external partners.
• Build event-driven architectures and real-time data processing with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Design efficient database schemas, write complex SQL queries, and perform indexing and performance optimization for large-scale datasets.
• Apply API security practices using Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT, and OWASP guidance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of Java 8+ and core Spring Framework concepts.
• Expert proficiency with Spring Boot and Spring Batch, including production-grade ETL pipeline development.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers, preferably Kafka, and distributed systems.
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server, including complex SQL.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
