Revenue Accountant

TL;DR

Revenue Accountant (Finance): Managing the billing and revenue cycle for clients with an accent on project setup and receivable follow-up. Focus on ensuring billing accuracy, coordinating with offshore service centers, and providing project economics reporting.

Location: Hybrid in Madrid (Avenida de Burgos). Must be based in Madrid; office attendance required 3 days per week, with full-time office presence required for the first month.

What you will do

• Review project setup within the revenue systems.
• Manage client billing in accordance with schedules and applicable regulations.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables with project directors and clients.
• Coordinate with the offshore shared service center for processing client cash receipts.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests from Partners regarding project economics.

Requirements

• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish (C1+).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict month-end deadlines.
• Accounting education is preferred but not mandatory.
• Detail-oriented approach to financial data.
• Availability for a temporary one-year contract (maternity leave cover).
