What you will do

• Translate software UI text and online help documentation from English into French with high accuracy and consistency.
• Write, revise, and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and release notes.
• Review and validate the French-language UI to identify and correct translation, formatting, and terminology issues.
• Maintain translation memories and terminology databases using memoQ Pro.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to support product releases.
• Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve efficiency and content quality while verifying accuracy.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada (Toronto, ON).
• 5–7 years of experience in technical writing within the software or financial industry.
• Professional-level written and verbal communication skills in both English and French (Canadian).
• 5+ years of experience using MadCap Flare and translation memory tools (preferably memoQ Pro).
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Translation, English, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in wealth management, banking, brokerage, or fintech sectors.
• Knowledge of information architecture, content layout, and publishing best practices.
• Experience with style guides, controlled language, and terminology management.
• Project management skills for planning and coordinating documentation deliverables.
