What you will do

• Own the multi-year documentation strategy, content architecture, and team structure aligned with product roadmaps and business priorities.
• Directly manage and coach a team of technical writers, overseeing hiring, onboarding, and professional development.
• Partner with Systems & Automation teams to implement AI-driven efficiencies in content workflows and authoring processes.
• Establish and enforce content standards, style guides, taxonomy, and accessibility requirements across all documentation surfaces.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure documentation is integrated into Agile release cycles.
• Utilize content engagement and search data to identify gaps, prioritize improvements, and demonstrate the value of self-service content.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical writing or content strategy, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven success leading documentation programs for enterprise SaaS or B2B software products.
• Proficiency with modern toolchains such as Mkdocs, MadCap Flare, or Confluence, and structured content principles.
• Deep understanding of Agile development workflows and experience embedding documentation into engineering cycles.
• Must have legal authorization to work in Romania or Hungary without requiring employer sponsorship.
• Exceptional written communication and analytical skills to present data-driven cases to senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in the cybersecurity industry or highly technical B2B SaaS environments.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted authoring tools and evolving content operations around them.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and plain language principles.
• Experience with content analytics platforms such as Coveo or Google Analytics.
• Degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
