What you will do

• Evaluate and resolve technical and usability problems within the ERP application scope.
• Manage user access, permissions, and setup for new and existing users.
• Proactively monitor system and integration statuses using daily ad hoc reports.
• Own the application support request queues in the service management system.
• Perform root cause analysis for complex or unique system disruptions.
• Provide 24/7 support via an on-call rotation, including execution of Sunday maintenance windows.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in a similar application support role.
• Good working knowledge of the Unix/Linux shell.
• Experience with Perl, Shell, and SQL scripting or an extensive development background.
• Experience working with Incident Management or Support ticketing systems.
• Degree in engineering, technology, or an equivalent field.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience administering an ERP package.
• Experience with Oracle database administration.
• Experience with job scheduling packages.
