Location: Hybrid (Sunderland, UK) - 3 days in office, 2 days remote

What you will do

• Develop and maintain core game engines and highly available backend services for bingo products.
• Adapt and extend engines for B2B delivery via partner-facing APIs.
• Design game mechanics and calculate Return to Player (RTP) par sheets and event probabilities.
• Build supporting systems including chat functionality and game certification.
• Collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams to improve code quality and fix bugs.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to shape the evolution of game engines.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
• Experience building backend systems, client/server applications, and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), specifically T-SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of game development fundamentals and basic game mathematics.
• Must be based in or able to work from Sunderland, UK (Hybrid)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SOLID software design principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud computing.
• Proficiency with Git and JIRA.
