TL;DR
Application Support Engineer: Maintaining and optimizing infrastructure environments with an accent on Linux systems, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines. Focus on managing Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, ensuring network security, and automating deployment processes.
Location: Must be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit. Hybrid work (2x a week) in Porto required.

What you will do
- Manage and support Linux-based IT environments.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using GitOps, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Configure and troubleshoot network security, including SSL certificates and load balancing.
- Automate deployment workflows using tools like Jenkins, XL Deploy, and ArgoCD.
- Support web server infrastructure including Apache, JBoss, and Tomcat.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure system stability and performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux IT projects.
- Must be based in Portugal with valid work authorization (Portuguese/EU citizenship or work permit).
- Extensive knowledge of GitOps, Containers, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and OpenShift.
- Solid understanding of network architecture, SSL, and reverse proxies.
- Proficiency in automation tools (Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory).
- English proficiency: B1 level required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ansible or Terraform.
- Scripting skills, specifically Python.
- French language proficiency.
