What you will do

• Manage and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL database environments for enterprise clients.
• Perform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery through RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
• Conduct performance analysis, capacity management, and troubleshooting.
• Implement security hardening and vulnerability remediation across production systems.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver incident, problem, and change management solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in Portugal (Porto Salvo/Lisbon area).
• Extensive experience with Oracle Database Administration (11g, 12c, 19c+).
• Proficiency in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
• Strong background in PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning.
• Solid Linux administration skills (RHEL, Oracle Linux, CentOS) and Bash scripting.
• English proficiency at B2/C1 level required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Exadata and PostgreSQL replication.
• Automation skills using Ansible, Python, or Shell.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience in banking or financial services sectors.
