Location: Must be based in the Netherlands (Hybrid: 3 days per week in the Amsterdam office).

What you will do
- Design and build backend services and APIs for the analytics platform.
- Own and evolve data collection pipelines ingesting millions of data points daily.
- Improve reliability, observability, performance, and cost efficiency across infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and pair programming.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code as a core part of the workflow.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building and operating production Python services.
- Fluency with Flask or similar frameworks and RESTful API design.
- Must have the right to work in the Netherlands (no visa sponsorship available).
- Ability to work hybrid from the Amsterdam office 3 days per week.
- Experience with modern CI/CD and version control practices.
- Strong commitment to testing and operational rigor.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployment.
- Track record with high-availability systems and task queues like Celery.
- Familiarity with gaming platform APIs (Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, etc.).
- Experience with dbt at multi-terabyte scale.
