Consultant Data Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Consultant Data Engineer (Python/Cloud): Developing server-side tools and data pipelines for client projects and internal AI solutions with an accent on cloud architecture, containerization, and ML infrastructure. Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Unable to provide a work permit for this position.

What you will do

• Design and implement cloud architectures on GCP, AWS, and Azure, optimizing storage and compute services.
• Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes tailored for Data Science workloads.
• Develop server-side tools, REST APIs, and bulk data processing scripts using Python.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data processing scripts within Big Data environments.
• Manage the integration and ongoing deployment of applications via CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure specifically adapted for Machine Learning model provision.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Econometrics, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics).
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred), with familiarity with noSQL (MongoDB).
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD automation, and knowledge of Terraform.
• Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills are required.
• Must have the legal right to work in the Netherlands (no work permit provided).

Nice to have

• Mastery of the Gitlab-CE ecosystem.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
