Consultant Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and manage cloud services across GCP, AWS, and Azure, including storage, compute, cost optimization, access management, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes, including clusters adapted to data science workloads.
• Develop Python server-side tools for bulk data processing, REST APIs, authentication, and internal platforms.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support deployment of data science projects at client sites.
• Develop ETL scripts in Big Data environments and implement infrastructure and services for machine learning model development and delivery.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with a strong quantitative component, such as econometrics, physics, mathematics, statistics, or quantitative finance.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in data, DevOps, cloud, or software engineering.
• Good Python skills, experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, and familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience or strong interest in cloud platforms, Docker, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, Git, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Knowledge of application security, including certificate management, HTTPS, OAuth2, and credential management.
• Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills are required.
